Id have to agree with the majority of users here in that it's up to the individual as to how much personal data they choose to share.
This forum is better in that regard than many others I've joined that require that certain information is provided as part of the signup process.

One item of  information that can be useful at times is a users location, especially when looking to sell or buy an item.

Kiriakos, I appreciate your contributions and enthusiasm for the blog and the forum, but I have to agree with Shafri, let it go, please.

However well meaning, you've created a thread of no value at all, all it will do is degenerate into ill-will and misunderstanding. This has already happened with people calling for you to be banned, and I have received several private messages about this too.

I have to admit that sometimes I cannot understand where you are coming from, if you are serious or just being sarcastic, or angry, or something else entirely... The English translation doesn't help I'm sure, but even so some of your comments are very hard to interpret in anything but a negative light.

I love sarcasm and off-topic posts and rants as much as anyone, they can be fun, and I don't want to discourage such things. But the line can indeed be a fine one.

So please try and keep it on-topic and respectful of others users in the future.

I will  give another try, so to explain my view ...  

In one " International " forum ,  the non-native English speaking people ,
they do not have the ability  of be " Sarcastic " , most of them use the language to pass their message.

Feelings and Web boards, was one issue from day one ...  only at your video I could see ,
your face and tone of voice , so to totally understand  the level of any feelings , transferable  by use of the sound and picture.

So by judging in the Internet, the " feelings "  of one text , has an tremendous " high error" percentage of 50/50 ...      ( even worst than the worst Chinese made DMM )  

Any way , my understanding so far , are that we have lots of very young ones ,  hanging on a forum,
made for the electronic engineers.
And they like to participate as equals ( by pretending the grownup's).

When some one starts to pretending , he is an fake personality.

Its known that humans are imperfect , and I am one of them , but at list, I am trying to be always honest.
