(Hello) Servus,

I was the past 3,5 years in USA where I enjoyed the stunning ebay.com (without insane overseas shipping costs, damn I miss it so much...) and all the amazing deals you can get over the internet. For new parts Mouser was my friend and  everything was OK.

Now here in Germany I am kind of lost, Mouser requires 60€ min order for free shipping (otherwise 20€, thank you...) and Digikey is not too far away.

Here what I got (so far):

For small orders, SMD only and not a huge component selection Low shipping cost to EU (3,5€) [Thanks to CrashO]
smdshop.nl

For small orders, low shipping costs (not huge component selection)
www.conrad.de (high prices but they got some parts hard to find elsewhere, they also got a few shops in major cities)
http://www.reichelt.de
http://www.tme.eu  shipping is 5,90€ netto within Germany. passives, generic silicon stuff like opamps, bjt etc. Relatively good prices, very quick delivery (DHL).
www.voelkner.de is quite cheap, and offers zero shipping, at orders >25€ and "direktüberweisung"
http://kessler-electronic.de/ They always shipping with "Warensendung" cheap but slow.
http://www.distrelec.de/ payment via iDeal (Dutch online payment), their catalog is not that big, they don't stock everything, OK for hobbyists

Overall decent (decent shipping costs and part selection)
http://de.farnell.com/ in Germany you need to be a registered EU VAT customer to buy there
https://www.hbe-shop.de/ Farnell for non-commercial, private customers
http://de.rs-online.com/web/

For "big" orders (about >55€) and huge component selection
http://mouser.de/
http://www.digikey.de/

For older rest materials
http://www.pollin.de/shop/index.html Pollin sells old overstocks and cheap-ass stuff for silly low prices. You can even buy mystery-bags full of old rubbish. Like a bag of old television PCBs or stuff like that  :-//, very good for old cables

WAITING FOR MORE FEEDBACKS
http://www.octamex.de as I did order there several times. Best prices in Germany on cheapish soldering tools (Ayoue, zhongdi...), only few components but high quality and hard to get stuff for home PCB fabrication like laminating sheets and PCB-Material in several colors.
http://www.csd-electronics.de/ Some microcontroller stuff etc
https://www.buerklin.com/ Their website and service got much better in the last 2 years
http://www.segor.de -> A good shop to find rare items
http://www.elko-verkauf.de/ -> A shop for Low-ESR Elko sets
http://www.watterott.com
http://www.octamex.de/shop/index.php
http://rosenkranz-elektronik.de/ -> A great shop for test equipment! High price...
http://stores.ebay.de/TECHNO-CENTER-SCHMITT-ELEKTRONIK
http://www.elpro.org/ is often cheaper than most of the other suppliers if you need more than 1 piece.
http://www.pinsonne-elektronik.de/
www.csd-electronics.de
http://www.elpro.org/ (located in Darmstadt, Germany)

For those who can understand German, there is a wonderful list here:
http://www.mikrocontroller.net/articles/Elektronikversender

for PCB Manufacturing see here.

I am tempted to collect/group orders from different germans EEVBlogger in order to go above the magic 55€/60€ limit and then reship the part over DHL to them (20€ saved each time for each partecipant).

Let´s see what you guys do... thanks in advance for all the help.... I´ll try to update the OP with yours feedback.

smdshop.nl is a good one. Sends most stuf in padded envelopes (and packs the parts in small plastic tubes so they don't get squashed) so is pretty cheap on the shipping front. (2,50 NL, 3,50 rest of Europe)

Conrad is quite expensive but they got some parts hard to find elsewhere. They also got a few shops in major cities. I'd recommend Reichelt.

ELFA was a swedish retailer that got bought out by some larger company, they now go by the name elfa distralec here and I guess that distralec sell under very similar terms. (http://www.elfa.se)

ebay.de can be very useful for random junk :)

Did you check http://www.tme.eu ?

Any feedback?
It seems they charge close to 8 euro for delivery. No thanks. I'll stick to Farnell and RS.

If you order the parts with more than 8-10 EUR in value, usually TME is cheaper than Farnel in total cost. They do have very cheap SMD passives. Usually 5 MLCC capacitors at Farnell will cost more than 100 of them at TME. They have reels of the parts at very cheap too, like <3 EUR for the reel of 5000 pcs 0603 resistors. ICs and other semiconductor parts often are multiple times cheaper too.

TME: shipping is 5,90€ netto within Germany. I have been using them for years, mostly for passives, generic silicon stuff like opamps, bjt etc. Relatively good prices, very quick delivery (DHL). They opened up a local division in Germany few years ago.
Farnell: you need to be a registered EU VAT customer to buy there. HBE (https://www.hbe-shop.de/) is their reseller for private customers.

Edit: not sure how up to date that list is, but take a look here:

Hi Zucca,

again, a warm welcome in Germany!

www.voelkner.de is quite cheap, and offers zero shipping, at orders >25€ and direktüberweisung.

They belong to Conrad, so they have a similar stock.

Just a few weeks ago, I ordered from them for the first time.
And it was extremely fast delivery, I think 2 days or so

Also, I have ordered lots from Bürklin
https://www.buerklin.com/
Their website and service got much better in the last 2 years

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, however, there is.

I've used Distrelec.nl in the past (Netherlands). They work with private customers, payment via iDeal (Dutch online payment) and overall is OK. Except it seems their password reset has been broken for years, but mailing them will yield a response quickly.

Their catalog is not that big, and feels like hit and miss. They don't stock everything, and where they have a basic set of parts, there are definitely some gaps (e.g. from 1 micro family, they stock 32K, 128K and 256K versions. 64K version missing, some parts only 1 package). However, for hobby this may be fine if you're OK picking parts by distributor catalog instead of manufacturer catalog.

If I may, I want to add that RS in the Netherlands are completely off the charts. For some reason they stopped doing business with all private customers. A few years back this was no issue. Couldn't get a proper response from them, all I got: "yep, that's our policy".

I used mainly www.reichelt.de or digi-key for parts. Conrad is silly with component prices but they have nice lab accessories and tools, their paper catalogue used to be nice too with lots of detailed mechanical information on parts.

Sometimes I find that www.futureelectronics.com has the best prices for reels of passives, like 10µF XR7 capacitors.

Then there are some that already were mentioned, Bürklin, Voelkner, TME, Pollin, Schuricht (now distrelec.de).
I would say that Voelkner and Pollin are similar to Conrad.
