I have electronic engineering in my blood, so I do a lot of thinking.
The answer to life, the universe, and everything, is 42. :). Only joking.
Our universe started from nothing and became something.
The only way to create something from nothing is to break it in two.
For example:
There is no high tide without low tide.
There is no night without day.
There is no good luck without bad luck (otherwise luck would have no meaning).
There is no happiness without sadness. :)

I take it your next outburst of reasoning will be one that does not get you reported and moderators wondering how much trouble you will be :)

@Peter,
You may not be aware that this forum has a problem with Spammers who register, make a single mostly irrelevant post then come back a few days later to edit in their spam links.   Fortunately our excellent team of moderators (and admins) are very much on top of this and remove the spam very quickly.

Assuming you aren't a spammer, staying more on topic (i.e. electronics related or at the very least, hard science or engineering related) will help keep the mods off your back.  Also you may wish to consider introducing yourself: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/chat/new-member-please-introduce-yourself/

From the foregoing wisdom I gather that there would be no interesting, useful, worthwhile, insightful and instructive posts without there also being worthless, irrelevant, psuedo philosophical, nonsensical and pointless posts. Thank you for alerting us all to, and most of all, providing this contrast.

I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

HA HA HA HA  :)
Thanks Guys
No offence intended.  ;)
About myself:
I am 55 and live in Australia.
I am a keen electronics enthusiast.
I designed a smart electronic mouse trap for the CSIRO's department of environment.
The lead scientist went outback and made records of Australia's fauna by collecting native rats and mice (beautiful creatures, not your pest variety).
The trap was designed not to harm them.
I own a business, Pete's Electronic Workshop, and have a web site, www.peteselectronicworkshop.com.au.
I have designed an electric vehicle to help emergency workers bring patients who have fallen from a cliff in rough terrain to the waiting ambulance.
I currently build and sell high fidelity guitar amplifiers.
In a nutshell as Austin Powers once said.  :)

Actually the fast spam busting on here is mainly due to the quality of membership who do care about the quality of forum they use and will report stuff that looks suspicious having become experts at spotting it. Rarely do I not do something about a user reported for spamming or being a potential spammer as most people reporting it are spot on and often reports contain good background information that helps limit the research we have to do to validate the claim that "uh, I think it is spam"

Agreed, I don't see a website, just some shapes, well dodgy, must have been created on an Arduino

it's 42
there's 52 weeks in a year. 7 days a week. we have weekends off. that's two out of seven. fifty two times two gives 104 , divide that by 5 and you get 10 *.
subtract 10 off 52 and you get 42. so you need 42 weeks of vacation !

* i took the liberty of applying the "What do you get if you multiply six by nine?" mechanism to get to 10

Actually it’s kind of cool. The vertical and horizontal bars are scroll bars that rotate the shape in the middle, which is in fact 3d.

Apart from that I sense the presence of a fresh ayahuasca trip or concussion  ::)

Yes.  e.g. if I report something as 'Spam', I've already checked the links for you, or if I report 'Spammer' they've made multiple spam link posts.

However, our contribution to eliminating spam couldn't work without the mod team's quick response to reports.  e.g. another forum I sometimes use is notorious for their slow-acting moderators, who seem to be limited to a few hours per weekday during office hours for their HQ.  As a result spam posted after close of business on a Friday will still be there for the next 60 hours or so, and longer if the weekend is adjacent to a public holiday!

The only way to create something from nothing is to break it in two.
For example:

There is no night without day.

There is no happiness without sadness. :)

Life is a sine wave. It has ups and downs.
The period of a human sine wave is roughly 80 yrs I'd say, a typical life expectancy in a modern western country nowadays. It may get longer in the future as we improve healthcare, society, etc. Maybe even indefinite if we can reverse aging?
But, what about the sine wave of the universe? Does this mean the expansion may stop at point, that it will start to contract again?
But that's the rate of change.. you get volume by integration. Does that imply there is also (going to be) a universe with negative volume?

I digress. For me that is a rhetorical question. I agree with your statements. We as humans tend to converge to a psychological neutral state, no matter the experiences we've had in the past. Some things in daily life may remind of us our past.. some memories that are important to hold on to, other memories important to work through, but that ultimately makes the high and low tides we are all faced with.

Life is too complex for trite and simple answers.  However a lot of people seem to gravitate toward the trite and simple; a look at social media will confirm.

Human life is no more special than any other animal life.  The humans seem hell-bent on over populating our only planet to the point of eventually making it uninhabitable for our species.  Over population is seldom if ever mentioned because that isn’t the answer people want.

The universe is probably infinite beyond human comprehension.

Well we have done a fairly good job of understanding the universe but at the end of the day, we can't go there and whatever happens there, we can't do anything about. But it's nice to know about.
