I made a huge score!

This past Saturday was the Electronics Flea Market in Cupertino and I was really looking forward to it because I had missed the past 2 meets. I am very happy I went because I found a Keithley 191 digital multimeter when I was there. I spotted it laying on a tarp that one of the sellers had out. I noticed it had four terminals but I did not stop to look at it very closely and instead I wanted to see what others had to sell. I came back later to look at it and it was in decent shape. I asked the guy how much he wanted for it and he replied 5 dollars. I could not pull the money out fast enough from my pocket to pay him. Even if it was not working I thought what a score!! Here's a picture if the meter.

I need to find the manual now and check the operation and calibration. I will post more shots later of the insides.

i wonder why it says dc only...  is the ac button broken?  ;D

I noticed that also. maybe it came from a company. I know here at work my company issued volt meter has a label on it that says " Use for DC and resitance only". If I want to check AC I have to go to the calibration lab and get an AC calibrated meter. Has a tag that says "Use AC only".

Anyway nice score on the meter.
