So I made a little user script to enhance the DK parts search experience. Here are some features:
- Checks "In Stock" when opening a category page
- Deselects bulk packaging types like "Tape & Reel" when opening a category page
- Adds a checkbox interface to several "features" fields, enabling much faster filtering
- Adds shortcut links for "sort by price" to product listings
The feature checkboxes are really neat and are pretty much essential in certain part categories like microcontrollers where the features are all mashed up. Just try finding all the micros with USB support without it! With the script, just click "Enable Features" under "Connectivity", click "USB" and "USB OTG", and Bob's your uncle.
Firefox users need to install Greasemonkey first:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/ . Chrome users don't need a special extension but until 5 minutes ago I haven't been testing it on Chrome. It looks like the sort by price shortcuts don't work but everything else seems OK.
