I might have found a suitable part https://uk.farnell.com/amp-te-connectivity/640250-2/housing-0-156-2way/dp/1580074?MER=sy-me-pd-mi-alte or https://uk.farnell.com/molex/26-03-4020/connector-rcpt-2pos-1row-3-96mm/dp/1756831 The TE Connectivity one actually looks a closer match. the housing looks pretty similar, and the pitch is the same at 3.96mm/ The voltage and current rating aren't the same though, I mean i don't need 600V 7A for this application, it's just a question of if it's physically too small, or the pins are too small to fit the existing header on the board. |

Yeah, Molex KK 396 or the SL-156/HSG were going to be my guess. There may be similar/equivalent from other manufacturers as well. |

Only problem now is buying the thing, the part is about £0.11 but the shipping :-DD the £0.11 part ends up costing upwards of £6 |O |

It seems that "CH3.96" is the generic name for these. This style might have been around for longer than 0.1" connectors, I remember seeing them in '70s electronics. |
