No rules, it's free just sitting there for the taking.
You don't have to feel guilty, you won't get in trouble (it's not being stolen), there will not be consequences for taking it.
Well I did say no rules so if you want to get into trouble or feel guilty etc you can.

I'll start off (I only have a few sorry). I'm looking for a new house, free so I'll guess I'll take it (hope nobody was living there).
I need some more space and air conditioning this house is about as easy as getting the Australian government to care about global warming (near impossible).

I'll take a free project car that I'll do up.  I guess I'll take the parts and consumables free as well as a larger workshop.

What are you going to take?

Well, if we're speculating on the impossible a ticket with the winning numbers for next Tuesday's "EuroMillions" lottery would be handy. Or if you want something more tangible how about The Card Players, by Paul Cézanne - that's worth even more than the lottery ticket.  >:D

You can only eat one meal at a time, live in one building at a time, have sex so many times per day, etc.  The question really comes down to, "If you could do whatever you wanted without having to worry about making a living, what would you do?"

Have enough money in the bank that you can get an awesome lab with a CNC router , Pick n Place machine , Lathe a few Agilent bench multimeters / scopes / bench supplies.
And do cool electronics / technical projects and post about them on Youtube / forums.
Give away the stuff you make for free to the viewers and be happy.

I would like a Powerball ticket with the winning numbers on it. World domination sounds pretty good as well.
I'm not saying we should kill all stupid people. I'm just saying that we should remove all product safety labels and let natural selection do its work.

id be happy with cash.

i already have a lot of stuff, yeah, there is a thing or 2 id like to have, but cash can be used to procure that.

id really just prefer to have the cash so that i could "keep my life going" ie. pay water bills, pay taxes, pay electric bills, put food on the table, ect..ect...ect.. then i could spend my time using the stuff that i already have.

And do what with it?

I'd take whatever is necessary (wouldn't really be that much) and build professional/feature rich OSS/OSHW test equipment.  Since there are no rules I'd sell these at cost (they'd be cheap for high end stuff), host the OSS on Github, take community feedback seriously and quickly, new revisions every 2-3 years.

You'd end up with Agilent quality or better, faster better software, all the features, incorporate your own features, for 1/4 of the price.

Hire Dave as my beta tester and TV personality.

Explore it.
