We're going to need more and better photos than that to identify it. Make sure you get the whole box in the shot, do the sides if there's anything written on them too.

1970s spring board lab kits are awesome! This one looks particularly interesting in that it's foldable but only has one side of springs. The other side appears to be some sort of modules with terminal connectors, and for some reason they seem to have two speakers and two key switches. I've never heard of "attache" so it might be quite rare.

Hi Cyberdragon. I have attached more pictures of the kit. It has so little information on it other than the model number 2982 & made in Japan. Everything is there other than the manual. It has a solar cell that must have been very unusual back then. My Dad bought it for me sometime between 1968 to 1976. Thanks Dave

I don't know if there's even enough info on the box. I think Attache is just their product name (since it's in a plastic suitcase) not the brand, although it should be unique. Since it's not coming up in searches, it must be quite rare. And that number might even just be a serial number. It says 200 projects so "200 in one" is another piece of info. The only other piece of info is that it's made in japan. So I think we're just going to have to look through Japanese elecrtronics companys that exported to Canada in the 1970s and see if they made lab kits. If 2982 is actually the serial number, then it is quite rare.

Edit: Gakken kits were (and are) made in Japan, but so was a lot of stuff back then.

EDIT2: Definately not a Gakken, most of theirs were under the "Mykit" branding, and they definately wouldn't hide their brand name. This may or may not be a genaric no-name lab, which would make it suprising that they actually bothered to give it a name like "attache".

I just noticed this...

A computerized experiment kit

:-DD Really? With four transistors and a couple diodes? Of course, Tandy called that aweful thing with the switches and lights a "computer". You can get an actual computer in a springboard kit nowadays with the Maxitronix 500 in one lab.
