File attachments when replying to PMs
« on: October 15, 2019, 08:10:20 pm »
Is it not allowed to attach files when replying to a PM from another member? I did not see the option.

Thanks.

Nope, not supported.
The only way is to get the other members email or some file transfer repository to send files back and forth.

If the type and size of a file is one that is permitted in normal posts then one way to transfer it to another member is to edit an older existing post and attach the file, then notify the other party where the file is located by way of a private message. Once the file has been acquired by the other party a user can edit the post again and remove the file. This method does not require the exchange of an email address or remote repository but is rather limited and less secure.
