As the subject states. its been over 2 days his site is coming back with

"Unknown Host

Description: Unable to locate the server named "www.mjlorton.com" --- the server does not have a DNS entry. Perhaps there is a misspelling in the server name, or the server no longer exists. Double-check the name and try again. "

Anyone else having this drama ??

Its one of the forums apart from this one that I frequent just wanted to know if anyone else goes there and it they are having issues?

The mjlorton.com domain was expired few days ago, its back now just recently, I guess you will have to wait until the new refresed dns copy got replicated at your dns server, or just change to public dns like google's dns 8.8.8.8.

and it works ok. hmmmm Stupid Chrome browser.

ok it turns out chrome need its history cleared. Why it cache this shit I do not know.

You're not the only one.

In Firefox I get either Error 500 (internal server error) or that typical domain expired ads page. In Internet Explorer I get the actual site and the forum. I don't understand it, tried setting the useragent on firefox to the one IE uses and it still doesn't work right.

Martin says only the mobile version has some issues so I don't know what to say.

Have you cleared the local cache? Do you use a proxy?

Yeah, my system basically stays on 24/7 ... but it's due for a restart. I accidentally accepted a windows update about 3 days ago and since then every 4 hours I hit postpone to rebooting the system.
I didn't restart Firefox (too may tabs open that I don't want to bookmark but yet I don't want to forget about them) so I guess it still cached somewhere something.

Still, it's really strange that if i get the domain expired page with sponsored links on it, when I hit the reload button in the browser, the server will give me an internet server error (http 500). No proxies, I have the ISP's dns as primary and OpenDNS as secondary DNS in the router... just weird.

Anyway, I'm going to restart the system like I said, hopefully it will work fine then.

His domain name expired but he already renewed it so it should be back up for all those with DNS problems.

Yes. Martin's forum is quite dead compared to here. I think most of his subscribers/members communicate via youtube forums, but I hate that comment/feedback/format and won't participate anywhere on youtube.

yep, it seems down for now, they have moved to another server and by the looks it wasn't good, so they moved again, martin posted before it in the forum, I guess it wil be back soon

Yes, I have seen your problem with making of attachements. (Seemed solved)
Also the change to "...secure1..." and back to MJLorton.com.
And his post about the possible use of a backup.
But since seven days only the upgrading message pops up (sometimes not even this).
A little message from Martin over his youtube-channel would have been nice.
Maybe it will happen in this thread.
