I watched one of daves videos and after it came the suggestions from youtube for other videos, one being 300 KV on a TV, I thought he took all of his videos down, there are some transition effects and text overlays so I suspect someone else has reposted ? the account is now called photonvids.

Photonicinduction is now photonvids. He changed the name about the time he got married.

Probably because he's still capitalising on that name, because that's who he's known as PhotonicInduction.
He (foolishly I think) shut down his old channel completely, so maybe could not get the old channel name back.

His older videos show "Photonicinduction" the intro. He may have changed it to "Photoinduction" on his newer videos.

That's strange. Maybe it's the new guy who's editing the videos for him spelled it wrong? :-//
He was certainly know as PhotonicInduction, and his new channel name is PhotonVids, so "PhotoInduction" doesn't make sense...

Maybe is trying to maintain some continuity. My first thought was that someone was ripping his videos off with some added editing.

I believe Photon's vids were being copied all over You Tube land which understandably he didn't want, or like. So between that and folk moaning about safety all the time it was getting too much.. So he gave-up on You Tube for a good while then decided to come back with the renamed channel.
I think renaming the channel was just easier for him to do. Initially he was going to give up on You Tube all together, but returned with the new name and the intention of starting again on a much smaller scale.. However after a billion requests or so he started to re-upload most of the older content, this all needed to be edited first though to help protect the material, and include some safety clauses here and there.
A You Tube mate called AintBigAintClever started off all the editing of Photonvids channel for him, and created the new start/end sequences etc.
