Is RS now using quantum computers?
tggzzz:
I ordered this "in stock" item on the 18th.
I've asked RS whether this still "in stock" item has or hasn't been dispatched.
I wonder if they will answer or merely respond. Time will tell :)
pcprogrammer:
I had to take a good look at the picture to see what you where getting at :-DD
You mean the duality of the item being dispatched or not. Well when you open the box you will know 8)
woody:
Had the same thing with 10 connector hoods the other day. They were in stock, showed as dispatched, but never arrived. A couple of days later they were shown as backordered, and as dispatched, and on top of that they were still in stock.
I called them twice and finally got my hoods. Something with a French warehouse not showing inventory or something vague like that. Might be a quantum computer after all :D
magic:
I'm sure they just accidentally sent an empty parcel alongside the one with your thermostat.
In a few hours both parcels will arrive and a nice lady will call to apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused you.
:phew:

The close approximation to that was another item from that order: an A4 padded envelope containing only a CR2032 battery holder. Another item from that order has arrived in another padded envelope.
Given the choice between "fast" exclusive-or "predictable", I'd choose predictable. But I'm not given the choice.
