is the brand Apacer any good

looking to pick up a 64gb usb 3.0 flash stick for 21 tomorrow on special for use with my portable speaker since last week the 30gb hard drive in my ipod has failed and is no longer working i have since sold the ipod for $25

is the brand Apacer any good for the price

Not a bad brand, one of the oldest Asian flash storage brands, traded on Taiwan Stock Exchange Corp.
They do not have their own flash technology or any IC technology, but as a second tier brand, they did really not bad at all.

thank you for your help i think i will go ahead and pick one up as im poor spending just $23 is a lot for me

Keep in mind no matter how good it is, it can still drop dead without warning. Backup your data!
I had 2 top of the line Toshiba SD cards, both died after little use in a Sony camera. Neither of them sees more than 5000 photos write, but they just died for no reason.

You should rather look by model, not by brand. The fact it has USB3.0 does not mean it's a fast or reliable flash drive, it actually may have piss poor performance and take forever to copy the data. Look for actual benchmarks and buyer ratings/feedback, for example on amazon. As of brand, apacer is ok.
