| Is there any standard for SMD marking? |
| (1/1) |
| RoGeorge:
I know nobody has the time to debug to the component level any more, but each time I have to lookup SMD markings it's like shooting in the dark. I know there are, and even have a few SMD catalogues, but unless the part is a very common jellybean, chances are I'll never find what it is. I see here "what SMD is this?" question quite often, so what are we missing? Is there any marking standard? How is one suppose to know what a SMD component is, and find its datasheet? How do you identify, for example, non-obvious 3-6pins parts? |
