Probably defective in some way, that is what the scrapper thinks and I believe him.
Wait till you guys find the video where he scraps a couple of old scopes.

Australia is not big on trying to sell/give away low value items. So something I'd pay $5 for becomes $1 worth of scrap.
Something I'd take for free, he has to pay to get rid of.
If I lived next door to someone like this I could just pick out a few bits and pieces I need, and have the rest of the board back.
