Is this enough nails?
(1/1)
jpanhalt:
Prior owner walled off a shop in the barn, but it is not mouse (or snake) proof, so I decided to fix that. I am filling in gaps around the walls of the shop and open barn. Among things I don't like is pegboard, which covers most of the walls and is set out by furring strips (nominally 1" x 2"). Mice do get behind it. Here is a picture of a couple of the furring strips after removing the peg board. (I am still a novice with my new camera -- sorry for the quality.) Every dark dot is a pneumatic driven brad nail. He used glue coated nails, and needless to say, they are a royal pain to remove.
This is just a light post and is not intended to be a serious discussion, but my guess is that he took out his frustrations with a much younger, recent wife with his nail gun. (They divorced after about 3 years, which led to my eventual purchase of the house.)

If you're trading-in for the newer model spouse, isn't the point to have better ways of taking out frustrations? >:D
