That's so like Apple to show up 5 years late to the party with a shitty copy of what others have done well and claim they invented the technology. I wouldn't even wipe my ass with an Apple product. :-D

While we're "Apple bashing", perhaps Apple should just stick to what they're good at: Telling consumers what they want, not the other way around.

Products like these own you, not the reverse.

100% spot on. You can also lump "social media" into that category. The users are the product, not the consumer. Those companies are making huge amounts of money off your data and personal information. I find it hypocritical that people in Australia bitched and moaned about providing "personal information" in our last government Census (which really wasn't all that personal), but they were more than happy to share their lives, movements, habits and opinions on the internet for all to see.
