Thank you dave for excellent service and such fast dispatch and delivery, very much appreciated.

A small foot note notifying customers won't hurt.  :P

Good idea. A revised estimated shipping date would have been better, rather than a misleading "Out of Stock" on everything which can be interpreted as "How long is a piece of string?". In the electronics world, "Out of Stock" can mean a 6 month lead time. With the disruptive Chinese New Year coming up again, it is getting too late to get PCBA's made in China with a quick turn-around, and after that they have to restart their manufacturing lines and have to deal with a big backlog. A colleague was going to order a meter but went elsewhere thinking the place had closed up shop or the lead time would be too great. I'll let him know, but it might be too late.

Dave, you know I never take holidays (well, not at "normal" times of the year anyway). Throw me the keys to the lab and I'll sort it out ;-)

Thank you dave for excellent service and such fast dispatch and delivery, very much appreciated.

That's impressive, was that via a private company such as Fedex/UPS/... or via postal services?

I've found that postal services have become absolutely ATROCIOUS for a few weeks now.

I've found that postal services have become absolutely ATROCIOUS for a few weeks now.

I use DHL express exclusively for all overseas sales now. I got them down on price until there wasn't a huge difference between DHL eCommerce and Express. eCommerce is still cheaper but it gets handed off to the local countries postal service for the last leg (and looses tracking at that point), and I was getting too many delays and missing packages.
Even DHL admitted that the eCommerce system wasn't great and they don't recommended it.
I'm actually considered a big DHL customer, as most companies do not send 95% of their stuff express courier overseas like I do.
I also use the DHL electronic invoice system which is supposed to speed things up.
Gave up on Australia Post as eCommerce was better at the time.
Only things I still send Australia posts are fuses and uSleeve's that can go letter post.

I wish you'd stick it to AusPost more. I get sent feedback requests only for the things that have shown up on time but whenever there was a package lost in space, there is no word from them.

I ditched the Aust Post eParcel system and went back to pre-paid satchels. For many places it's actually cheaper than my corporate rate was, and it's less hassle because you don't have to go to the counter to post them.
Technically I could also use DHL for local Australia as well, and I do for big higher value ebay gear that doesn't fit into satchels. My DHL rates on big heavy stuff can actually be cheaper than Aust Post.
