Rigol on aliexpress?

Just got some marketing wank from Rigol. It was to point this out:

Haven't looked at the prices. But WTF?

Why do you feel this is a WTF?  Rigol is a Chinese company, lots of Chinese companies direct-sell to the public and Aliexpress is the best way to do that for foreign buyers.

Because it's taken them years to do it. And their stuff is notoriously difficult to get hold of direct from China for some, presumably deliberate, reason.

Maybe I should have said "That's an interesting development..."

Their email came with the fine print:

Which is no doubt to appease their distributors. No love for Emona though, it would seem.

A 10 second comparison of the DS1054z shows Emona are only a gnats more expensive. So probably not worth arguing over.
