Is a store that sprung from her DIY kit that even she didn't want to assemble but her fans pushed so much that she gave in and started to assemble kits for sale, hired people to help her out and from that Adafruit was born, so she is a huge part of the so called "Maker" movement birth 10 years ago.

Maybe not higher praise to you but looks impressive to me.

Is it a way to hide their lack of background? Does she want so much attention?

To be fair, while she does make my eyes roll like nothing else, nothing but the interruptions in all of that is anything worth judging people on.

He seems like a really, really nice guy.

This. Lest I get carried away bitching about Fried, Horowitz was wonderful. He seems like he'd be fun to spend some time around. I have high hopes for the following Hill interview. :-+

So what about the 3rd edition? Is it worth buying? I noticed on Amazon.com that there is no preview so not even a table of content to look at.

Edit: Found the TOC here: https://blog.adafruit.com/2015/03/02/new-site-the-art-of-electronics-3rd-edition-by-horowitz-and-hill/
