LCSC shipping cost/time differences?

Whats the difference between these two shipping methods? The second one is that China post? Are both air mails?
For example 843gram Austria/Euro zone i got:
Royal Mail and Austrian Post. 20euro, 15 to 30 days.
Global Direct Standard Line.  22euro, 7 to 15 days

Royal mails home page gives somewhat different prices and delivery times!

LCSC also want to charge you for failed shipments while Royal Mail have those fails/returns for free?!

GDSL could be any of many China based companies, I don't think CP has a monopoly on parcel carriage. With times like that I doubt it would be by sea, not with the supply chain bottlenecks there.

From memory, the cheapest option used a service called Yuntrack or Yunexpress? Obviously I was a little concerned at first, but all parcels arrived no issues, sometimes faster than their quoted delivery time frame. Definitely worth the savings over DHL, unless you absolutely have to have some item within ~3 days.
