List of non-YouTube channels for EE/Tech/Nerd content...
« on: December 29, 2019, 08:55:01 am »
In response to the discussion in this thread, I've decided to compile a list of EE/tech/nerd related content creators who regularly* upload to services other than YouTube.

I (or Dave/the mods) will update this main post as more get discovered. (Feel free to PM me or just post in this thread).

Don't forget, you can also follow these content creators on your smartphone or tablet device by downloading the LBRY or Vimeo applications.

* Please limit contributions to official channels only and to those who upload the vast majority (if not all) their content to alternative providers such as LBRY, Vimeo, The Internet Archive or their own website. This thread is about promoting other sources of our much-loved content, that is not YouTube.

Why can't we do what we do on Youtube and go there and search? If a list here on the forum get too big it just makes it  easier to search on the platform in the first place.

I remember a few people made a bit of effort to do that for YT channels some years ago. Why not just add the alternative link to that. It might at least mean only one list to keep updated.

Also. Although I can't speak for what reasons others might choose a non-YT alternative, I am uninterested in rejecting YT because they canned a few crypto vids and at least one of Rossman's cat videos over christmas. If it becomes convenient for me then I might.

I've enjoyed a lot of Rossman vidoes but he's been so busy ranting recently about Apple (justifiably, I agree) that I haven't seen so much recently.

But I watched some of this lady today and thought her pretty interesting

Cryptocurrency has taught me to love math and at the same time be baffled by it.

Cryptocurrency lesson 0: Altcoins and Bitcoin are not the same thing.
