The one where she is holding the big knife has triple or quadruple that a similar mail bag video has. She has the girl next door kind of cuteness to her.

My favorite part of that video is when she opens a box takes out a PIN keypad and tries to be enthusiastic and says: "Thanks" and her face just says; Great another piece of useless junk for my husband to not throw away, now we have peoples trash from around the world and not just the dumpster behind his office.
I'm legally blind so sometimes I ask obvious questions, but its because I can't see well.

Keeps popping up on my recommended. Maybe the others do and I don't notice. The other big one would be the one with all the watercooling gear and graphics card that gave Dave a load of flak.
Your toaster just set fire to an African child over TCP.

The waferchip mailbag has more views

But yeah, thumbnails work.

The popular ones all have petty interesting thumbnails.

Hah, I can only imagine my other half's face if I started getting boxes of "junk" sent to me from random people. I already get a dirty look every time a package shows up on the porch. The worst is when someone packs something in a gigantic box.

I am interested to see how high this most recent mailbag video goes, in terms of views, with Dave being naked in the thumbnail. I call naked Dave being in the top 5 in a couple of months.

Really?

I can see Dave as a nerd and I can even see him as a decent mate - but a poster pin-up?  Not in a million years.

Not sarcasm from my point of view.  Dave's bare chest does nothing for me other than help focus my attention more solidly on the tech.  Not sure about how the ladies might feel about it.

As for attracting interest from the Youtubing public - I can't see it.  But, if I am wrong, the question as to "Why?" is one I won't be pursuing.

I don't understand what you are trying to say. I posted to just poke fun at Dave given the this thread topic. Nothing more. You don't have to think too much into it except to view it as a passing comment.

Edit: Next time I will make sure to add a "I'm just joking." statement at the end if that will clarify things.

I read your comment as serious.

Sometimes poking fun isn't that obvious.

If you had added this emoticon =>  ;)  <= it would have been.

Just remember - on a text based forum, unlike a face to face conversation, there are no inflections in what you type.  I can't see your face, hear you vocalise or otherwise get a sense of your feelings.

It can be sort of scary what attracts views on the intertubes.

Case in point:  My wife and I used to post photos of our kids on Flicker so that grandparents and other family members could see them. We didn't think about any privacy settings.  The photos were just the usual family photos with young children, etc. and the number of views were < 20 per photo.  But once my wife posted a pic of one of our boys -when he was like 3 yrs old - sitting on the toilet with a book in his lap. No "private" parts exposed.   We were shocked to see it quickly had several hundred views!! :o

Needless to say - we added a password requirement...

Be careful with the sarcasm thing on these tech forums. I'm learning that the hard way. People take EVERYTHING you say so seriously. They get all emotional about it. I never understood how you can get upset over the internet. Just close the lid or press the button on the side and it all goes away! Radioreferance.com is still the worst for it. Its like a support group for high functioning autistics and assbergers people.

We DO NOT take everything seriously! Especially me - I can't believe you would say that here!

STOP accusing us of taking things so seriously!
I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

^ LOL

Even I, with VERY slight aspergers, can tell you are having a laugh, but careful - better stamp a GIANT, ROUNDED EMOJI  ;) :P on your sarcasm posts, or the uber serious squad will be along to find offence wherever it's hidden, even if you hadn't offered any.

Ass burgers are quite tasty, I heard, so long as your donkey lead a healthy and humane life. (I know, lame joke... ;) )

I've found THE most extreme cases of nerdy pedants @ EEVblog forums, I agree with you mate. Can't let go of ANYTHING... but then, this is a forum started by a man with an almost pathological compulsion NOT to let anything go related to "Solar Roadways" or "Batteriser" - it's really quite laughable when you realise how short life is, and the HUGE amount of angst he and his tribe of fanboys spend on it. Wowee! Talk about him lowering the bar for entry... and so you find echoes of this pedantry and unwillingness to let go of UTTERLY meaningless guff, bouncing back and forth all over this forum, it's as dopey as anything when you consider how (otherwise) intelligent the average member is.

Dave's a lovely, super bloke - but man, does he waste time on some utterly inane SHITE, and so attracts the types he represents, by association. "Misery loves company", as they say ;)

Uh oh. I think he's baaack...  switchmodepsu is that you?
