Author Topic: Looking for a good use of a variable speed reversible motor from a speed lathe  (Read 877 times)

  A few years ago a friend pulled a deburring speed lathe out of his work's dumpster.  I don't know what is wrong with it but the motor works fine-it reverses and controls like I guess it is supposed to.  I bought it off him for $20 or $40 (can't remember) because I wanted the motor to play with.  Other than stubbing my toe on it a few times I haven't given it much thought. 

  I was hoping to find projects online for the motor but haven't had much luck other than as a lathe.  Could someone point me in the right direction?
