| Looking for a tool like a scalpel but with no sharp edge |

I’m working at a manufacturing plant and the health and safety guys want to take away all scalpels. I don’t really need our scalpels to be sharp, but the operators are complaining because the spatula I gave them is way too cumbersome. We use scalpels to scrape excess glue off the housings on our product. Using a dull blade doesn’t impact the job. Ideally I just want to buy a small attachment for the scalpel base that comes dull from the factory, kind of like a metal spatula sort of edge, but much smaller, to it can be handled like a scalpel not like a spatula. Any tools come to mind? |

There are a variety of laboratory grade stainless steel "micro" spatulas. I am adding "micro" to distinguish them from kitchen spatulas. These are all along the size of a scalpel, https://labsociety.com/lab-equipment/spatula-metal/ Many different styles including some with thick edges that might work well for scraping (unless this is what you already tried); searching on "laboratory spatula" might find something suitable. |
