I inherited this circuit from someone who left the company. It seems like nonsense to me, but looking for other people to comment. I guess they where thinking that they could create some form of opamp attenuator. Anyway if I have missed the point then happy to be wrong. Thanks |

Seems like a non-inverting amplifier with response shaping. No idea what the purpose is. |

It definitely IS an attenuator. Given the LMH6609 is a very fast opamp, the purpose, as I see it, is effectively a wideband buffered attenuator. |

It seems to be a voltage follower, with close to unity gain, and approximately 50 ohm input impedance. The slight attenuation of the 10 ohm series resistor and 47 ohm shunt resistor at the non-inverting input is only partially compensated by the slight loss in the feedback network to the inverting input. |
