People like that design CPU microcode in their heads and then recode it for another architecture on the bus journey home because they are bored O0
I've watched it twice, I showed the video to my girlfriend and she got bored after twenty seconds because some folk just don't get the cool stuff.

Thanks for sharing! Reminds me of 'The Incredible Machine' (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Incredible_Machine_%28series%29) I used to play as a kid.

That was amazing. As a kid I used to make mystery marble boxes, putting various ramps and gates inside a cheese box and you would drop a marble in one opening and had to guess where it would roll out. I guess that's what got me started on games like that - like Mousetrap, where I would just build the machine, not play the game. And I had this marble toy called Bing Bang Boing where you built similar marble contraptions. And then of course The Incredible machine series of games - there were several, and I had them all. I've always loved that sort of thing.

If you like things like this you might enjoy playing the board game roborally. It looks simple enough: each player has to program some steps for it's robot in advance which then gets executed turn by turn. The fun starts because the board is not static and of course you are not the only player. A recipe for disaster if the board suddenly doesn't look like what it did when you programmed your steps. Lots of fun :-+

I still have those and play them in a VM when I'm on planes mainly. I'm waiting for my boys to get old enough to introduce them to it.

OK, I hate you :-DD I'm flying out for work on Monday so I did a quick look to see if there was something like this for my ipad. Not exactly, but I did find one called Rube Works which is based off the actual Rube Goldberg cartoons - you have to put the various bits together to make the wacky inventions. And I've now been playing it for the past half hour. It is 1am where I live. So - I hate you :-DD :-DD
