Lots has been written about energy. Don Lancaster has written an excellent summary about it. you can find it here: http://www.tinaja.com/glib/energfun.pdf These energy "sources" are usually based on a measurement error. Usually meters are used that display average value of a sinus (cheap multimeters) and this value is interpreted by the user as an RMS value. Also when non sinuodial waves are used on these meters the error becomes easily 50 or 100%. Measuring true rms is very difficult. |
