| Making a Mess of the Work Bench |

The Japanese 5S is a great philosophy which I try to practise in my lab and at any lab I have work in. In some companies 5S means Store, Stack, Stow, Steal and Squander. In this case, it seems 5S is Solder, Splash, Sizzle, Scorch and Scold. :D |

it was only a 10uF and most of the solder spatter did not stick to the PC monitor or the oscilloscope. what looks like a 10uF electrolytic is now non existent, but it did make w loud bang. - glasses saved my eyes. I am usually more careful with the solder pot when dipping & picking Old pcb's for parts. |
