Making PCBs on glass

I found this very interesting instructional DIY video for making PCBs on glass for anyone who might be interested.

Sharp made a glass substrate and put a complete working Z80 processor on it, just to show off their amorphous silicon on glass technology

As with the project shown in the video, a touch sensing application for one example. I'd also like to know if leakage currents on fiberglass material would be the same or better with glass, e.g., for high voltage circuitry.

Glass is better, after all most high voltage insulators are made from it.

Though that depends on whatever glass you use, some are quite conductive.

dont see the point of using glass .not very flexible hard to drill and dangerous .

Easy to drill glass, just use tungsten carbide bits and lubricant. Of course the range of drill sizes is limited, I have only seen 6mm and 10mm glass bits, they work very nicely.
