May I ask why you do not have a forum section for "algorithms"?
(1/1)
dastructhm:
In my humble opinion, I think the most important part of a product is its algorithm inside its MCU, not its circuitry or its fancy software. Data structures and algorithms are the most valuable intellectual property, which may outgun rivals' products in terms of data accuracies.

For example, an IMU with no algorithms would cost 5 dollars, whereas an IMU features Kalman Filter could be sold at thousands of dollars.

so...I was wondering...you know...

rstofer:
Would this kind of thing fit in the "Programming" sub-forum?
Due to the IP nature of 'algorithms', I wouldn't expect a lot of traffic.

Then there is Google, the repository of all human knowledge:

https://www.kalmanfilter.net/default.aspx

daqq:
Because it falls reasonably well under the other categories such as Programming or Microcontrollers. Also, the forum is more electronics oriented, so the finer points of Zener diode temperature curves will be more the focus than the finer points of the seventy eight variation on the FIR filter.
