Wow. Nothing new. I first saw this 20 years ago.
















It was used by Jean-Luc Picard on Enterprise on his desk as video phone ;D

I think i'll wait until we have transparent curved displays with zero bezel.

I think I'll give it a pass. These new fangled displays have crap contrast  ;).

I think i'll wait until we have transparent curved displays with zero bezel.

That technology isn't too far away. Our pilots are already using it in the form of JHMCS.

You can achieve similar results with a strategically placed chrome kettle.
