I just saw a sales listing for a "vape" holder that clips on the top of an xbox controller, but I've lost it and can't find it again.  I don't know why they bother with that euphemism, it's going to get used for soldering irons.

Meanwhile I found this in the description of a tracker device:


And ... err ... these things that you can "pair" with maybe?

Oh, the "whys" of the datasheets... The information is there not to be an axiomatic truth, but instead each speck of data must be slowly inhaled while carefully performing a deep search inside oneself to find the true metaphysical sense...

Yeah, because 10! (10 factorial) is 3,628,800 which is the number of seconds in 6 weeks.

86400 x 7 x 6 = 3,628,800.

Not that surprising that 10! works out to be seconds in 6 weeks.

10! = 10 * 9 * 8 * 7 * 6 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1

Lots of shared terms:

60 = 5 * 4 * 3 * 1
3600 = 10 * 6 * 5 * 4 * 3
24 = 4 * 3 * 2

The Mayans used 60 seconds for a good reason - easily divisible.

Another interesting coincidence I like is e^pi - pi = ~20, to 3 dp.

When you start noticing these kinds of details, you start appreciating how useful 12 hour clock (=2231) and 60-second minutes and 60-minute hours (60=5×12=223151) really are.
