More consolidation: Renesas buys Dialog

"Renesas and Dialog Semiconductor Announce Conclusion of Final Regulatory Review and the Expected Closing Date for Renesas’ Proposed Acquisition of Dialog Semiconductor"
In non-weasel talk this translates to "Renesas buys Dialog". Look at that announcement, half of it is a disclaimer for the lawyers on the bottom.

I personally wouldn't care. Dialog and Renesas both doesn't talk to small players. Renesas doesn't even bother releasing full info on parts without NDA. But Dialog bought Adesto few months back, and they were the primary source of low power flash memories. At least I could clear up with the distributor, that nothing really will change, and I get parts when they have it. Sigh.

I thought Dialog's sales/support of the GreenPack mini-FPGAs was pretty hobbyist/small user friendly.
Although that may have been a holdover from the Silego days.
