Greetings EEVBees:

--See below link for story about NASA possibly wanting to paint incoming asteroid. Martha Stewart would be consulted as to color scheme. The Global Warming Lobby is still working the possible connections. If this close encounter cannot be blamed on changes in the Earth's orbit due to AGW, then perhaps the possible impact would make AGW even worse, yeah, that's the ticket. As you know, AGW is now being held responsible for Volcanoes and Tsunamis.

Yes, SgtRock, we all know by now you are a denier.  Now stop acting like an annoying little kid and put on your tin foil hat.  It's getting boring.

Greetings EEVBees:

--The reason the AGW advocates use the term "deniers" is to try to put AGW skeptics in the same class with those other despicable deniers, you know the ones. It turns out I was too quick to discard the possibility that those who want to spend trillions and trillions of dollars on carbon schemes, would try to blame possible asteroid impacts on AGW. I thought I had come up with an outlandish claim so bizarre, and unlikely, that not even AGW advocates would make it, turns out I was wrong. See below link wherein the "ecoEnquirer" cites a University of Michigan Space Scientist who makes just that claim.

http://www.ecoenquirer.com/global-warming-asteroid.htm

--I know, I know, it hard to believe, but that what is says:

"(Ann Arbor, Michigan) A University of Michigan space scientist is worried that global warming is increasing the risk that an asteroid could, one day, collide with the Earth."
"Now that all reputable scientists agree that global warming is the greatest threat to face mankind since the secretly-thwarted alien invasion of 1955, it seemed that just the warming alone was enough to strike terror in the hearts of Earth's imperiled inhabitants. But this new connection between global warming and the asteroid threat makes immediate action to avoid planetary collision just as important as avoiding planetary meltdown."

--So it turns out that, not only can AGW never be disproven by any fact whatsoever, but it would appear that there is nothing, nothing it cannot do. "Strike that AGW Not Suspected - Yet" and make it  "AGW Suspected".

The answer is obvious- put the space station in its path.

Greetings EEVBees:

--Mea Culpa. Upon careful review, I can not find but the single reference to Charles Boyle at the University of Michigan, and therefore must conclude the the article I cited is bogus. I regret my inadvertent and hasty error. Someone on this blog once said that George Bush had said "God told me to invade Iraq", I was only able to fine one citation of this, and that was by a Hamas official who also claimed that, Jews had no historical presence in Jerusalem. I am glad I was gentle in exploding that myth, because now, it smarts less, having to put the clodhopper on the other pedal extremity, while eating crow. If only we could get Al Gore to own up to his, erroneous assertions, as easily. It is easy, though not fun, Al. Try it.
