CRAZY listing prices on ebay
« on: March 30, 2018, 05:34:56 pm »
Do people just list stuff at INSANE prices just hoping someone click's buy without even checking ?

Like $800 for 10yo GPUs  like 5870 or gtx 580

Listing fees, they had them once, sold out and might get them again, but do not want to pay another listing fee, so instead jack the price up so that if somebody actually does buy one, they simply can find another to ship and still make a profit.

On the other hand I think some people might just be delusional. This was actually listed at 1000 bucks over a year ago. If I'm paying a grand for a PS/1, it better have been the first one off the line with a load of nice signatures in perfect condition.
I forget who I am sometimes, but then I remember that it's probably not worth remembering.

Sometimes when I'm looking for something, and have spent ages checking prices and various models or, trying to pick between something............I get sick of it and just buy without more research.

Maybe rich beginners on ebay click buy on 1 of the 1st things they find and don't care or later just say to hell with it I'll pay rather than not pay and have negative karma like in fallout NEW VEGAS

I like how that PC is "perfect, except the HDD is dead. And the HDD will be easy to fix."
Yeah, he's serious about the price. As you say, delusional.
