| Vytautas:
Hello, guys, Can someone help me with figuring out what is the SOT-23-5 component marked NLDJ in the board (two of them on the board)? It is used in a battery free guitar pickup (the large white circles are the places for the 5V supercaps which I removed trying to fix the thing). I have searched the net for this marking, no results. |

Given the use in the circuit and the number of passives, it's probably an op-amp of some kind. The pinout seems to be similar to SOT23-5 single channel opamps like MCP6001, but it's a bit odd given "ground" comes in via a track (maybe it uses a split supply?) |

Thank you very much. My best bet is also an op-amp. It seems it is the MCP6401T-E/OT one. I will try to order and see. |

Off-topic, but in looking for answer I learned that the SOT23 package was conceived in...1966 (the year I was born) and first produced in 1969. Yet, for another 10 years, the TV repair man still showed up with a van load of vacuum tubes... https://efficiencywins.nexperia.com/innovation/sot23-50-years-surface-mount-innovation-in-one-package.html |
