Name of British YouTube Channel dealing with High Power Stuff

There was this British YouTuber , I think his channel is quite old.

Used to do electrical stuff in his house. Just purely electrical, no digital stuff. Used to play with varistors transformers and so on. I can distinctly remeber him burning stuff aswell. He also had classic British dry sarcasm and O think he mentioned he was getting a divorce in one of his videos.

Can anyone remember the name of this YouTuber?

We know him well.  He did have some marital problems - not with his lady, but with the British government.
 Fortunately, they seem to have been sorted.

We believe he might be making new videos in the not-too-distant future.  It will be good to see him back up and running.

The UK has many different accents, maybe you just didn't recognise his.

The accent is somewhere between East End and Essex, though I'm sure it's not real.
