Necklace Microphone Used in The Summit TV Show

Does anyone know what microphone this is used in The Summit TV show?
It would be rugged and waterproof. Not sure if wireless or it's a long duration recorder.

But makes more sense if it's a self contained mic and TX/recorder.
Dicking around with wires and TX packs on a show like this would be a nightmare.

They could still have just used an off the shelf mic like that and cut the cord off and epoxied it in. Couple one offs just for the show.

Everyone seems to think it's the usual TX pack and this is just the mic.
I just thought that would be a PITA and they have used some novel new recorder or something. Post production editing would suck though for long multi-hour individual recordings

I heard they had a sound guy with a boom and they edited later to make it seem like the necklace might be doing something

I don't see why it would be larger unless it had a battery.
