Need a transformer
(1/1)
easilyconfused:
I burned up the transformer in my Radio Shack Electronics Learning Lab. They don't list any parts for them as far as I can tell. This thing was glued in. I'm sure it wasn't intended to be replaced. Just the same-- I'd like to repair it if possible. It's got this number on top but it doesn't Google up. 102381690A. I realize any number of vendors may have stuff like this but I don't know how to do a search. Any suggestions? Thanks

Jaycar sells one:

As per your diagram, the primary impedance is 1K centre tapped, the secondary 8 ohms.

Thank YOU! That's it exactly!

Where do you live?
If it's in the US there's Digikey, order number: 146KHM-ND

It's much more expensive though, it's probably cheaper to buy a new learning lab and use the old one for spares.
