NEED HELP!! Mystery Flash chip MFM8516

(1/2) > >>

Retromat:
Greetings everyone,

i have a very unusual flash rom here and i think i cannot find any eeprom/flash programmer that can handle this rom.
Here is the datasheet https://pdf.searchdatasheet.com/a5b8ea50/mosaicsemi.com/MFM8516VI-15E.pdf
Its a MFM8516 and i NEED to find a way ro Read and write it, the datasheet gives exact details how it operates but what could i use to actually make this happen?
Is there any programmable flash rom reader out there? Is anywone willing maybe (I will pay but cant send the chip to you) to help me on this thing?

eutectique:
What is so very unusual about this chip? Address bus, data bus, /CE, /OE and /WE signals -- all the same for the past 40 years.

Retromat:
I know
its the way the data i written and read to it, and i can not find any software that supports this chip...

ataradov:
On a quick read through the datasheet, it seems to be a standard command set. Pick any supported device of the same geometry and it will likely just work.

Retromat:
hmmmm would you be able to recommend one?
