Need Help With Germany Purchase
« on: February 01, 2023, 03:00:06 pm »
Hello All,

I am in the US and am trying to purchase a somewhat special USB-I2C converter from a vendor (ELV) in Germany who doesn't sell outside of Europe. The converter is required in order to use RTC chip vendor Micro Crystal's GUI development tool. While not absolutely necessay for development, the GUI does have some nice features and appears to only work with the ELV USB-I2C converter.

I'm hoping that I can get some help from a group member from Germany who might be willing to assist with this transaction.

The product can be boughtr on Amazon.de: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/interface-including-housing-connection-cables/dp/B07BR6WL2D

Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help!
Dan

Part of me smiled at this only as the tables have turned. Anyone ordering electronics from america have to fill out a whole load of daft questions about the end user etc and state you will not sell it to anyone that isn't a friend of America.

I wish you luck.

So everyone is clear, Calibration = Taking Measurement against a known source, Verification = Checking Calibration against Specification, Adjustment = Adjusting the unit to be within specifications.

If you don't find someone here, use a shipper forwarding service.

https://www.google.com/search?q=ship+from+germany+to+usa+forward
Profile -> Modify profile -> Look and Layout ->  Don't show users' signatures

When I need an item from Germany I use mygermany.com

https://mygermany.com

Used this service many times, very quick service and you can choose to ship them a package which they will forward or have them purchase and forward.
