| Need some help identifying a part |
| (1/1) |
| cdnsoundguy:
Greetings, Long time lurker, first time poster. My father was an EE and after he passed a few years ago his collection of spare parts and components fell to me. I have finally found sometime to go through his collection and I came across a ziplock bag of 500 green components all marked with "LF 1/4A". Please see picture. The bag was marked "TECHTROL". Does anyone know what the part is? It has a resistance of 0.34 ohms. Thanks. cdnsoundguy |

Fuse. |
| Fraser:
It is a 0.25 Ampere (250mA) PCB mounted fuse made by Littelfuse (LF) The pictured fuse appears to be from their “PICO” range …… https://m.littelfuse.com/products/fuses/axial-radial-thru-hole-fuses/pico-fuses.aspx Example datasheet: https://m.littelfuse.com/media?resourcetype=datasheets&itemid=7ef7dafd-7227-456e-888b-ea80c7afdc1d&filename=littelfuse-fuse-251-253-datasheet |

Yeah, fuse. A typical use for them back then was on PC motherboards for the keyboard power line. |
