Youtube notifications comments rigged?

Forgive me if this has already be mentioned on the forum somewhere, I couldn't find it.

Do more people have issues with notifications on people that reply to comments?
Since a couple of weeks it doesn't seem to work for me anymore.
Which is EXTREMELY annoying, since I now manually need to check certain videos.

And yes, in my profile settings notifications is turned on.
