Looks like:
- Cellular or GPS module - to track the scooter if its lost or for locating one to rent
- Camera module - scan QR code
- DC/DC board - convert the main battery voltage of ~48V to 5V
- Left and right speakers?

The newest model has probably gotten rid of the raspi:

I suppose they used the RPi 4 to get a product out quickly.  It's just amusing to me as an embedded systems guy.  Probably had people known about this last year then a lot of these scooters would have been raided for parts.

Hmm, why would they have a code scanner on the scooter, when every phone in the last decade has a camera?  Around here, the codes are just printed on the scooter, and you scan the code with the phone.  There's no way to rent them without the phone, I guess, but I'm not sure how having the camera on the scooter helps...  can you buy tickets somewhere?

Yeah that seems to be how it works now, you use the phone to scan.
Maybe they never used the ability, I can't see what else you'd want the camera for. Unless it records a few seconds of a crash or something.

And what would you do with that RPi? Seems like so hyper product, but the vast majority of people just keep them in the drawers...
