I like the "full" version, not so much the other one.

The monogram one looks more like "Tau Lambda" to me. Looks extremely bizarre.

I've nothing against the new full logo, but the circular thing is just horrible. What they must have thought. First Agilent, now Tektronix...

It's sad to think there were people that put a lot of hard work and effort into this and actually thought it was good.

Tomorokoshi, that looks better, still not sure about the "K". Turned around for a few seconds to look at the logo on a 7854, that isn't right either, I don't think Tektronix put CRTs into anything these days.

I also think that a rectangular border would be better for the monogram.

CRTs, avionics displays, that's the only thing I can think of, as for TV's, maybe there are some CRT plants still running in China or South America but that's getting of topic. I think a rectangular logo would have been better maybe with TEK on the top and TRONICS in smaller print underneath. In terms of how you pronounce or say Tektronix it's Tek-Tronix, two T's not TK, is it TK-Maxx or something ? Got to be "TEK" not "TK".

When a company with professional customers thinks that significantly changing their logo will significantly improve future business prospects, you know it is time to sell that company's shares.
There are lies, damned lies, statistics - and ADC/DAC specs.

The full size logo looks OK. Actually somewhat better than the original logo in my mind, as it was looking a tad dated. However, I do not like the reduced logo at all.

I'm really not a fan of the branding trend to drop/alter some vowels, but then again, I'm hopelessly nostalgic.   The old round CRT logo on the green manual cover is the only Tek logo for me  ;)

I suppose in these days of re-branding, we should be grateful they haven't changed their name to Tekligensight . The new main full-form logo is fine. The small circular one though... It isn't just poor, it is terrible . The sort of thing I come up with for in-house product development, and then reject because it looks clunky and amateurish.

I can just imagine the meeting to discuss new logos, with all sorts of imaginative designs, and then the CEO opens the door to announce that they are all rubbish and you are all going to use something his darling 12 year old daughter has come up with.

After seeing the old logos my first reaction was to check the ones on my scopes.

I just noticed that my 7613 doesn't have the logo (rack mount version) but my 7603 does ("portable" version).

I guess my 7613 is a clone :)
Nah, seems they didn't have the space. (well they do, but not by the model name)

Eh, who needs a new logo.
There is a new website, I hope that even some new scopes are coming...
