Anyone work at RMIT in the 80s?
« on: October 06, 2019, 08:07:10 pm »
I'm looking for someone who may have worked at the Electronics and Communications Engineering department at RMIT in the 80s.

In 1980 to 1982 I worked as a tech in a little workshop with no windows, I think on the 7th floor.

When I resigned, I left my home made digital clock (nixie tube and TTL logic)  in the workshop. Does anyone remember what became of it, or have any photos that might show it in the background?

I found this scan showing some of the circuit:

Here is the original article.
Did you leave it behind because it was not new enough to be valued and not old enough to be nostalgic over?

That's pretty much it. I wish I at least had some photos of it. The parts alone cost me 2 weeks wages in 1973!

Thanks for the pdf.
