At the pub, we play a game.
Everyone puts their phones down on the table. Switched on but locked.
The first to pick up their phone, for any reason, buys the next round.

Today I finished my wife's plate in a restaurant while she was busy with her phone finding the video I posted above. "I thought you where finished eating" didn't got me very far :-DD

I still want to find a driver stopped and texting, pull up next to them and blow the horn, to see if they will drive into the car in front of them.
I have seen people on Whatsapp and walking, so walk in front of them and stop, most will walk into you. I am hoping one will drop the phone so the fall will break the screen.

The fellow in the video would be very hard to beat at whack a mole.
Someone needs to come up with an app that randomly displays an image of a big black hairy spider on the screen, that will fix them.

I've had a few people come close to bumping into me when they were fixated on cell phones. Never had one actually bump in to me though. Would be fun to see them drop their expensive phones :D.
I tried to write a text message whilst walking a couple of years ago. I gave up after five minutes. Couldn't concentrate on looking where I was going and trying to use a cell phone at the same time.

Went out to dinner with a neighbor couple a few months ago. Waited in line at the restaurant for about 10-15 minutes, they couldn't put their phones down, me and my wife just talked to each other. About 10 minutes into this wait, I got up and asked the staff for a table for 2, rather than 4. A couple minutes later, one of the staff came over and got us for our table. We got about 20 or so feet away before the other couple noticed we had started walking, and they started to follow us.
Got to our table...2 seats, one for me, one for the wife, none for them. I explained to them what-the-fuck and they got to sit and wait for their own table...I think. I don't know as I didn't see them for the rest of the night...which is a bit funny because I drove! Don't know how they got home, haven't talked to either of them in a few months.
I guess their Facebook, their texts, their phone calls were more important than the people they were with.
Fuck 'em...
