So many shady players in this business!  Please list any obsolete part dealers that you actually like and feel are trustworthy.  Thanks.

I've known Scott at Astro Marketing in Melbourne Florida for many years and he's completely honest but he's not cheap. Scott and ones like him specialize in NOS parts to aerospace companies that NEED those parts and are willing to PAY for them.  You are right, MANY of the online companies are very shady.  They don't carry anything they just wait for Request for a Quote and then go price the item(s) from the real dealers and add 100% markup for themselves.  There is a private online network for people looking for, and selling HIGH quality, NOS parts but you have to subscribe to it.  I know Scott has his inventory list available via it but if you're serious and are willing to pay the cost then give him a call.

Chelmer Valve Company or Cricklewood Electronics. Both ship internationally and have been around for decades. Also pretty transparent pricing. CVC have an eBay store which is slightly cheaper than their web site as well.

Lansdale Semiconductor.
"Leaders on the trailing edge of technology!"

Edit: I think I attributed the slogan wrongly.  It belongs to Rochester Electronics.  Both companies, though, have been around a long while.

Local electronics supplier by me, who had stock of an obsolete UPC575C2 audio amplifier. Bought all 6 from them for 50c US each. Ebay is up to $90 for these...... They dug it out of a massive box of obsolete parts during the week, just for a single sale.
