They got some of their predictions right but way off in terms of scale....

 That same place they mention, the plant in Allentown, PA, USA - when I was in High School, I participated in an Engineering Day thing where we got to tour that plant and get some presentations from some engineers. At that time, they had just started producing the 64K dynamic RAM chip. We got to see the whole process, from slicing the wafers to the lithography to the die bonding and testing. Just 30 years from the date of that movie, with transistors the size of your thumbnail, to a chip smaller than your thumbnail containing thousands of transistors.

It's very hard to predict technology in 5 years with anything close to accuracy. The rate at which technology advances and new concepts get introduced is mind boggling.
